About Mae’s Bayou
Eunice Mae Parker was born onside of a road in Tickfaw, Louisiana. She grew up in Port Allen, Louisiana in an area known as Tombstone which sits right along the levee that separates the area from the Mississippi River and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a child she garnered the nickname Mae Mae and it stuck as an adult. Mae Mae spent time with her mom, grandmother, and aunts whom taught her how to cook authentic Louisiana cuisine at a young age. Many of which hot sauce compliments. She went on to raise 2 sons along the Bayou of Plaquemine, La. Being an avid hot sauce lover, her youngest son Kendrick, also known as Twice, decided to create hot sauces and named the company after her. Over the years many people requested Mae Mae to either cook for their family or simply share her home cooked meals with them. Inspired by his mom’s huge heart and tasty dishes, he focused on flavors that pair well with the amazing food she prepares, but also with many other of your favorite meals!!
